The Quilting Frolic is located at 11900 Brinley Avenue, Suite 100, Louisville, KY 40243. My studio is in Seams Like Home - your sewing space away from home! (For more information, see http://www.seamslikehomeky.com/).
I specialize in edge-to-edge longarm quilting, using the Intelliquilter computerized system on my APQS Freedom machine.
The name of The Quilting Frolic was inspired by the Amish, because when they gather to help their neighbors, they call it a 'frolic'. I feel that finishing a quilt for someone isn't just work, it's fun! The name also honors the great times of fellowship we quilting sisters have in working together to celebrate the joy of creativity, help each other learn and grow, and also quilt for charity. Quilters are some of the most giving people I know, wouldn't you agree?
I love seeing your beautiful tops and helping you select the right design and color of thread to enhance them. I want you to love your completed quilt, and will work with you to select the perfect elements to make sure it is finished to your satisfaction.
