Hi Quilters! My name is Roxanne Hummel, and my longarm quilting studio, Courthouse Quilting, is located a few minutes outside of Cincinnati, Ohio. I love love love to quilt!!! I have been doing it for nearly 20 years. I have an APQS Millenium, and I have been stitching everything in sight!
The above link to CourthouseQuilting.com will take you to my new website. Bear with me, as it is not complete.....because I want to quilt way more than I want to work on a website ;)
My services include both hand guided or "free motion" quilting as well as computerized quilting, microstippling, and custom work. I can free motion an allover design, use a pantograph, or program the computer to make a really fun (and affordable) pattern that is the perfect accent to your quilt! For example, I recently quilted a toddler quilt with an ocean theme, and we put an octopus pattern on it! Fun!
In addition to allover patterns, we can work together to come up with beautiful designs to accent each of your quilt blocks and/or borders. We can use microstippling to accent your applique work or other details that you want to shine. If it can be drawn, I can quilt it.
Please feel free to check out my website, or you may contact me at
Roxanne@CourthouseQuilting.com or give me a call at (513) 491-3190. If you call, be sure to leave a message because I have loud daughters! lol! (And yes, I definitely plan on luring them into being quilters as well:)
The wonderful quilt behind the scene on the website was made by Karen Riggins. Karen is a founding member of KHQS and has served the organization in several capacities including President and QAK Coordinator.
