The Contented Heart Quilt Guild (CHQG) holds an annual quilt show on Labor Day Weekend, both Friday and Saturday. This years show was a great success. An amazing assortment of quilts were submitted for judging. The view turn out as incredible. One of the best years we've ever had. 

Each year we offer a challenge block contest. These blocks are also judged. We sell a kit with a piece of fabric for the background as well as a smaller piece of fabric that must be incorporated into the block. Once submitted the blocks become the property of the CHQG. Our members assemble the blocks, hand quilt them and the finished quilt becomes our raffle quilt for the next year. This is one of the highlights of the show. 

We also do a bed turning. A bed is set up and the quilts are facedown. Each quilt is displayed by 4 members and a brief description of each quilt is read. Most include the owner of the quilt,  the artist that created it, and the pattern. This event has become incredibly popular.  The workmanship is amazing!
